“Bullying From a Dog’s Point of View” is a unique program to combat the serious problem of bullying in schools.

Joe Dwyer and his canine companion Shelby, a certified therapy dog, are appearing together in schools to share their experiences and touching story with students and faculty, and to increase respect and compassion in the learning environment.

Shelby’s transition from an abused and abandoned Pit Bull pup to a certified therapy dog is an inspiring story of overcoming adversity, while fighting against unjust prejudices and bullying.
Children and adults alike are touched by Shelby’s presence. She offers great comfort and joy to everyone she meets.

Joe brings over 25 years of diverse business and personal experience to his engaging and comfortable style of storytelling. He welcomes participation and creates a shift in perception, while the audience is taken on a journey from bullying to triumph.
